Waffle Flower July Release and Giveaway!

Ho Ho Ho! Happy Holidays! Yes! It's Christmas in July!!! The latest Waffle Flower Release is available today! To celebrate we're having lots of giveaways on Instagram! We're calling this release Magical Christmas because it captures all the joy, blessings and even mischief of the holiday season!

The new release includes pretty florals, joyous angels, whimsical elves and lots more! There's two new Postage Collage sets too!

This is the Postage Collage Dear Santa! It was easy to ink with not too many color changes. The background stencil is included too.

What's really clever about this one is the coordinating stamp set. It includes a few sentiments to stamp on the scroll Santa's holding including a letter, a check list, and some faux writing. There's even a pair of eye glasses for Santa!

You can ink this on the Postage Collage die cut stamps or frame the images with the Postage Collage Blocks like I did. It doesn't get cuter than this!

Waffle Flower July Release Day 3 - Elf-tastic

It's Day 3 and the final day of sneak peeks of the July Waffle Flower Crafts release that we're calling #MagicalChristmasWFC

Today is all about Santa's helpers! We've got a Vertical Tree Stencil with some Elves, Elf-tastic Stamps, and this adorable Elf Hat Die!

The die comes with a jingle bell and a circle for a pom pom end on the cute cap. You can add a face, or how about adding the hat onto a family member photo?

I added a little poinsettia from the Poinsettia Frame so you'd know who's the boy and who's the girl!

The sentiments are cute and punny and the coordinating die set has the same pierced edge that you see on the elf hat and trim. That background die is the Piercing Lines Cover Plate.

Waffle Flower July Release Sneak Peek Day 2 - Cardinal Duo

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you're having a great day! It's Christmas in July here as Waffle Flower celebrates they're newest release! It's Day 2 of the sneak peeks. The new release will be available in the store on July 5.

My card starts with the new Woodgrain Texture die. I inked it with Distress Ink using the coordinating Woodgrain stencil.

I topped the woodgrain with a small panel of vellum topped with an older Mistletoe Wreath Die. This creates a focal point for the Overlapping Merry Die N Stencil and Overlapping Merry Additions sentiment.

I embellished the wreath with a new Cardinal Die N Stencil. It was easy to ink in shades of red and can easily double a blue jay in shades of blue.

I added some foliage and berries from the Poinsettia Frame to bring more color to the design.

Waffle Flower July Release Sneak Peeks Day One - Glory Angel

Hi and thanks for stopping by! It's a great day for a visit because it's Day One of Waffle Flower July Release Sneak Peeks! We're celebrating Christmas in July because we know you need time to get to work on your cards!

My card is soooo sparkly in gold and white that I wish you could see it in person! I started with a gold glitter paper panel and topped it with a Sparkles Panel from a previous release. I trimmed the edge off the A2 panel so that the gold glitter panel peeks out from underneath.

The panel is topped with some Nesting Arches die cuts. I stamped a sentiment from the new Open Book Holiday Sayings on the center arch.

Gold die cut Glory Angels are double cut and adhered to the card with adhesive foam tape. The little musical notes are included in the set.

A tip on those little die cut musical notes... put some double sided adhesive tape on the back of your cardstock before you die cut them. This will turn the cuts into stickers so no glue blobs or difficulty adhering these.

Sweet Summer and a Giveaway for YOU!

I've got good news to share today! I'm blessed to be staying on the design team for Pretty Pink Posh! Pinch me! There's so much talent out there I can't believe I get to stay! Every release is better than the last and the products (and Paulina) are such a pleasure to make with!

Summer to me is running through sprinklers, fireworks, catching lightning bugs, and sweet summer treats... popsicles made from fruit juice, big slices of watermelon, and picking cherries from our tree!

My card starts with a Layered Citrus stenciled background topped with some stacked ovals, and a summer sentiment.

The fun part was coloring, and arranging all the fruits from the different stamp sets including Sweet Cherries, Fruit Salad, Citrus and Watermelon!

Hugs for Today

Today I'm playing along with the Triple B Challenge where its Birds, Butterflies or Blooms. You don't have to do all three. I'm missing the birds, but that's ok.

My card today is made with the Butterfly Blossom Texture die from Waffle Flower. You just cut the die and then color it with the coordinating stencil set.

The layered stencil adds dimension to the design when you add darker layers.

I adhered the big die cut to a white card panel and then just added a stamped, die cut sentiment from the Paper Hugs set. I used adhesive foam tape to add a little dimension. The finishing touch was a few candy dot enamels.
